Full participation in this website currently requires Registration. Unregistered visitors may browse the site, but will not have access to certain facilities.
However, we wish to stress the following:
The ONLY accurate personal information you must supply on registering is a valid e-mail address (necessary for on-line registration confirmation). We strongly urge that you do not under any circumstances reveal any further personal information in your submissions to the site (e.g. telephone numbers, addresses etc).

The Hartlepool Camera Club website uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered on registering; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address you supplied is used only for confirming your registration details and password and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one. Additionally, it will be used for the issue of any Hartlepool Camera Club Newsletters to which you have voluntarily subscribed.

By registering you agree to be bound by the following conditions:

As a user you agree to any information you have submitted being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent and all reasonable measures will be taken to ensure the security of any submitted content, the Webmaster, Administrators and Moderators of this site cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all submissions is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.

You agree that the Webmaster, Administrators and Moderators of this website have the right to remove, edit, move or close any submission at any time should they see fit

While the Webmaster, Administrators and Moderators of this website will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every submission. Therefore you acknowledge that all submissions made to this website express the views and opinions of the author and not the Webmaster, Administrators or Moderators (except for any submissions by these people) and hence we will not be held liable.

Gallery use:

The image Galleries contained in our site are available for ALL to view and for Registered members to create Private albums and upload their work.
We welcome ANY submissions from our members, however, the Club reserves the right to monitor/approve ALL images uploaded to the site before they appear in the albums. Accordingly, we must point out the following (brief) guidelines. These guidelines exist to help avoid disappointment for registered users when uploading images and, more importantly, to ensure the Galleries are "safe" viewing for all visitors: 

"ADULT" CONTENT : Sexually explicit/pornographic/graphically "violent" images OF ANY NATURE are not allowed. Having now made this clear, any members uploading such images will be warned and quite possible banned from further participation in the Galleries.

NUDITY : "Glamour" photography/images ARE allowed in albums. However, nudity is not (except in cases of tasteful "partial" nudity/artistic poses). "Frontal" nudity is not acceptable.

APPROVAL : By participating in the Galleries, you agree to be bound by the "Upload Approval" decisions made by the website Admin team. We will endeavour to notify you on any occasion where your uploaded image has not been approved, giving our reasons for that decision.
