Hartlepool Camera Club meets each Monday and Wednesday evening (barring public holidays) from 7.00PM in the People's Centre, Raby Road, Hartlepool. We offer tuition in basic photography and monochrome processing techniques for beginners and have a fully-equipped darkroom for use by our members. We have a spacious and well-equipped portrait studio, complete with professional lighting and backdrops. The Club is also equipped to offer tuition to beginners in the use of digital photo-manipulation programs such as Photoshop. We are affiliated to the Northern Counties Photographic Federation, and make use of their registered Judges for our regular photo competitions. We provide a full and varied diary of events throughout the year, including competitions, guest speakers, audio-visual lectures, studio nights and outings. We even (occasionally) take a short holiday together! The Club is open to ALL comers, whether absolute beginners or seasoned photographers. Membership fees are currently set at £14 per year, but don't worry... we won't demand money from you the second you walk in the door! Feel free to visit and check us out first.
