For anyone who may be interested, I've just received news inviting submissions for the 30th Northern Counties International Salon of Photography. This is a prestigious event for showing your work to the photography world, so, if you're keen to have a go...
Dear all,
 

30th Northern Counties International Salon of Photography 2009

 

We would like to extend an invitation to all photographers, worldwide, to submit entries into our Salon.  It is your opportunity to share your photographs at this prestigious level of photography.

 

For those of you who share our love of Colour Slides, this one of only two UK Salons that still offer you the chance to show why Slides are so wonderful.   That being said for  those of you who love Prints or Projected Digital Images we also extend a warm welcome.

 

Don’t miss out; don’t forget to submit your entry.   We want to see it.

 

As in previous years ALL sections in this event are carried out under the patronage of FIAP, PSA and the RPS.    Medals and Awards have been granted by all three patrons as well as our own NCPF awards.  A full colour catalogue will be sent to all entrants.

 

This year’s event again has FIVE Sections:-

       Monochrome Prints

       Colour Prints

       General Projected Images (either Slides or Electronic Images)

       Nature Projected Images               (either Slides or Electronic Images)

       Photo-Travel Projected Images      (either Slides or Electronic Images)

 

The calendar for this year’s event is as follows:-

Closing date for all entries . . . . 28th September 2009

Selection . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .   9th/17th October 2009

Notification . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 27th October 2009

Catalogues .  . . . . . . . . . . . . .   20th December 2009

All entries returned . . . . . . . . .  20th December 2009

 

Full details of all the rules and conditions of entry (including fees), together with Entry Forms can be found in the “International Exhibition” pages of our web site at:-

The Entry Forms are interactive PDF forms, which you can complete on your computer before printing off a copy, to send in with your entry and entry fee.

Please Note:-  There are SEPARATE Forms for Prints and Projected Images, which must be sent to different addresses.
