Posting the details of the NCPF International Salon has prompted me to pop this little reminder onto the front page!

As I mentioned some time ago at a Club meeting, negotiations are under way to finalise the arrangements for our own "International Slideshow Swap" with the Park West Camera Club of New York (PWCCNY). The date has been fixed for 16th, November 2009, and you'll see it in your Calendar as "A Taste of America".
Helen Pine, of PWCCNY is currently drumming up a collection of around 150 images which, at around 5-10 seconds projection per image, should give us a show lasting 15-20 minutes. Remember - this is simply a show, NOT a Judging! I would dearly love to match that target. And so - the call goes out, once again.
Submissions must (obviously) be digital files, for projection in jpeg format. We'd like them to be no larger than 1024x768 resolution (for standardisation, more than anything else). And it would be cool if they gave an overall "Taste of UK", rather than just "150 Portraits Wot I Made"! Other than that, it's pretty much up to you!
Time to dust off your file-sorting systems and find me the pick of the bunch. There's plenty of time. But get cracking!!!
